Sarah Hilliard, Grant Barrett, and Guthrie Allen Hilliard Barrett

Our boy was born a little after 9 p.m. yesterday, March 19, eleven days before the calculated due date. Guthrie Allen Hilliard Barrett (that’s two middle names) is eight pounds, three ounces and 21 inches. He has a lusty cry. His mama pushed the boy into the world without drugs. She’s tired. :)

Great looking boy! Sorry so late. You know us Missouri folks, a little slow at eveything. Anyways, I guess you two have late nights with the baby in your future. All our thoughts are with you two and your new born. Amy has not seen the pictures yet. I will show her when she gets home from work. Life as you know it has changed! Kids rule the nest! Hi everybody! It’s auntie Maggie. I love being an aunt. I always thought you had to be really old to be an aunt, but apparently not, because I’m 12. A big part of being an aunt is seeing your nephew, which I haven’t done yet. I hope to see Sarah soon, too. And don’t forget Grant! I can’t wait!
