Our boy was born a little after 9 p.m. yesterday, March 19, eleven days before the calculated due date. Guthrie Allen Hilliard Barrett (that’s two middle names) is eight pounds, three ounces and 21 inches. He has a lusty cry. His mama pushed the boy into the world without drugs. She’s tired. :)

YAY and big congratulations! This is such a special, wonderful moment, and I’m so happy that we can all share it through the pictures. My sadness at having lost the baby-name-guessing contest (by a mile) is completely outweighed by seeing Guthrie Allen. I can’t wait to meet him! All the coolest people DO have two middle names.
