Guthrie, at 19 months, got his first haircut today. He now knows Vito the Barber by name.
He was very good, though a little nervous. His papa held him in his lap the whole time.
You can see the little rat’s nest in the back that had to go.
Like I said, he was very good, but as his little face shows below, he wasn’t 100% cool with it. There was no crying, shouting, or thrashing, though.
Look at the handsome newly shorn little man!

Two days in a row of the most adorable pictures ever—it was like Ryan and I had gone to Guthrie heaven!! It’s going to be a while before I can reasonably berate you two for not putting pictures up (a while, but not that long, so don’t rest on your laurels). He looks so thoughtful in both sets, which is particularly funny in the monkey suit. I don’t know if “Grammy” visits the blog, but she deserves lots of credit for making an adorable costume that perfectly frames Guthrie’s toddler cuteness!
