Guthrie, at 19 months, got his first haircut today. He now knows Vito the Barber by name.
He was very good, though a little nervous. His papa held him in his lap the whole time.
You can see the little rat’s nest in the back that had to go.
Like I said, he was very good, but as his little face shows below, he wasn’t 100% cool with it. There was no crying, shouting, or thrashing, though.
Look at the handsome newly shorn little man!
As we wrote before, the boy has been pumpkin-crazy for weeks. We bought him one and he insisted on taking it to the bath and to bed. He calls them “pump-kings.“ And can you believe it? They’re everywhere! They all have to be identified with pointing and delightful shouts.
Like last Halloween, Grammy made a super-duper costume for our little monkey. He even kept the hat on for a while as we went trick-or-treating. This first photo was taken at his daycare.
This is just a bonus picture we took the other day in a diner. He wasn’t particularly grumpy, but it’s a nice pout, nonetheless.
